What is YEG?

The Youth Economic Group is a youth leadership program in Sullivan County NY.  As a member of YEG you will have the opportunity to work in our youth-run cooperative business, Bags for Justice.

You will have the opportunity to work 1 or 2 shifts per week (the hours are 3:30-6:30 after school).  You can also qualify to work during the summer when school is out of session (24 hours per week).  But this isn't just a job.  You will be a member of a youth-run business so you will have a say in how the business is run and what silk-screen designs are produced.

Most importantly, you will be discussing the injustices that you see occurring in our communities and creating designs that encourage positive change in our communities.

We are looking for young people who want to create change in their communities.

What is the commitment?

You will need to commit to working at least 1 day after school per week, on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Who is eligible?
